Spectacular end of the MotoSurf World Championship season

The MotoSurf World Championship 2023, the grand finale of the MotoSurf racing season, unfolded in Zadar, Croatia, from October 6th to 8th. More than 110 competitors from all over the world fought for the World Championship trophy at this tremedous event. The waves of the Adriatic Sea churned as the racers took on the last challenge of the year, and the competition was nothing short of fierce!
In the women's category the Flores sisters from Mexico showed their skills. They competed with all their might and therefore took the amazing 8th and 10th place. Their journey through the MotoSurfing World Championships was a testament to the passion and talent that adorns this competition.

The Stock category featured several extremely promising riders. Among them was Matthew Surkos, who was pushing hard for the podium, as before this last race he was second in the overall ranking. However, fate had other plans as he experienced a technical issue with his board at a crucial moment, dashing his hopes of making it to the final rounds and moving him down to 6th place in the overall ranking. Then Mark and Anthony from Canada battled for winning position, facing not only big waves but also strong competition that prevented them from advancing to the finals. Either way, a big congratulations as this was Anthony's first worlds race that he has competed in.

Amidst the crashing waves and tough competition, one competitor stands out as a true fighter. Antony Squire proved that he's one of the best in the World. With his remarkable ride, he finished 2nd and scored enough points to move to the 3rd position overall. That makes him the first ever American to be on the Overall World Championship podium.
The Motosurf World Championship 2023 showcased not only competitive but also a friendly atmosphere. The carefully designed course challenged the racers, and the mighty waves added an extra layer of complexity, making the event even more thrilling and demanding.
